After months of testing the off-road-oriented Himalayan 450 Rally on Indian roads, the bike is set to make its international debut at this renowned motor show.

Alongside the Himalayan 450 Rally, Royal Enfield is also set to introduce its first all-electric motorcycle, reportedly called the Flying Flea, at EICMA 2024. The Himalayan 450 Rally will be launched as an enhanced variant in select European markets. While this edition may not be available for sale in India, fans in India can still view it at Motoverse 2024 in Goa. Additionally, rally-focused parts may be offered as separate add-ons in India, though they may come at a higher price.
The Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 Rally Edition brings several specialized features ideal for off-road riding, such as a rally seat, rally-style rear cowl, knuckle guards, and a handlebar brace pad. To streamline the design, parts like the grab rail and tail rack from the standard model have been removed. Mechanically, it retains the core specifications of the standard Himalayan 450, including a 452cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine delivering 40 bhp and 40 Nm of torque, a 6-speed transmission, USD forks in front, and a mono-shock at the rear. The bike also has spoked rims and a modified upswept exhaust for improved off-road performance.

Motoverse 2024 in Goa, starting on November 22, will give India’s motorcycle enthusiasts a firsthand look at the Himalayan 450 Rally. If it garners a strong response, Royal Enfield may consider an official release in the Indian market.
